Robert 'Dipper' DiPierdomenico

Affectionately known as The Big Dipper’, Robert DiPierdomenico played 240 games and 24 finals for Hawthorn Football Club. He was the 1986 Brownlow Medalist and in 2007 was inducted into the AFL Hall of Fame. The moustachioed Dipper was one of the much-loved, and most media-covered characters in the VFL during the 1980s.
